70% of Israelis Support Second Phase of Hostage Deal
A new Channel 12 survey reveals that 70% of Israelis favor moving forward with the second phase of the hostage release and ceasefire agreement with Hamas. This stage would see 60 captives freed—24 of them alive—in exchange for a full IDF withdrawal from Gaza and a permanent ceasefire.
The first phase of the agreement, currently in progress, has already secured the return of 13 hostages, with three more set to be released. The poll also found that 69% of Israelis back President Donald Trump’s proposal to relocate Palestinians outside Gaza, however, 50% of respondents believe it is unlikely to be implemented.
