It is profoundly disturbing to witness the massive turnout in Beirut for the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah, the former leader of Hezbollah—a man responsible for countless acts of terror and violence. The event drew hundreds of thousands of mourners, including international officials from 65 countries, all paying homage to an individual whose legacy is marred by bloodshed and extremism. 

Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah for over three decades, was instrumental in transforming the group into a formidable militant force, orchestrating numerous attacks against Israel and perpetuating a cycle of violence in the region. His death in an Israeli airstrike was a significant blow to the organization, yet the adulation displayed at his funeral suggests a troubling glorification of his violent methods.

The presence of high-ranking officials from Iran and other allied groups at the funeral underscores the extensive network of support for Hezbollah’s extremist activities.
