Colorado Thieves Faked Seizure to Steal Puppies

In a concerning incident in Denver, Colorado, a pet store was targeted by thieves employing a deceptive ruse to steal two valuable bulldog puppies. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office reported that the theft occurred when three men entered the store, expressing interest in the puppies, each priced at $4,299.

One of the men feigned a seizure, diverting the attention of the store employees. During this distraction, another man lifted the pen’s lid, seized the puppies, and fled the scene, despite an employee’s attempt to intervene. The suspects escaped in a gold Cadillac Escalade without license plates.

The individual who pretended to have a seizure has been apprehended, facing charges including conspiracy to commit a felony, theft, and drug possession. Authorities are still searching for the remaining suspects. In a positive turn, one of the stolen puppies was returned after a woman, who had unknowingly purchased it from a street vendor for $1,500, recognized it from news reports.
