Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Ultimatum to Hamas: Release Hostages by Shabbos Noon or Face Renewed Military Action

In a recent video address, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Hamas, stating that if the hostages held in Gaza are not released by noon on Shabbos, the current ceasefire will be terminated, and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will resume intensive military operations until Hamas is decisively defeated.

This announcement follows Hamas’s decision to delay the release of additional hostages, citing alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement by Israel. In response, Netanyahu has ordered the IDF to mobilize forces in and around the Gaza Strip, preparing for a potential escalation.

The Prime Minister emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, “If Hamas does not return our hostages by noon on Saturday, the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will resume intense fighting until Hamas is decisively defeated.” He also expressed outrage at the condition of the three hostages released last Saturday and voiced support for President Trump’s demand for the release of all hostages by the same deadline.

This development underscores the fragile nature of the current ceasefire and the complexities involved in hostage negotiations. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, with hopes that a peaceful resolution can be achieved without further escalation
