Watch: 4-Year Old Calls Police When Mother Eats Ice Cream, Tells Them to Put Her in Jail

A four-year-old boy from Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, recently called emergency services to report his mother for consuming his ice cream.

On March 4, the young boy dialed 911 and informed the dispatcher, “My mom is being bad,” requesting, “Come and get my mommy.” His mother promptly intervened, explaining that her son had called because she had eaten his ice cream. Despite her clarification, the boy insisted that the police should take her to jail. 

Officers from the Village of Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to the call to ensure there were no underlying issues. Upon arrival, they found the boy upset about his missing dessert but not truly wishing for his mother’s incarceration. The officers used the opportunity to educate the child on the appropriate use of emergency services.

Demonstrating community spirit and understanding, the officers returned the following day with ice cream topped with sprinkles for the boy.

The incident garnered attention on social media, with many praising the officers’ handling of the situation. Comments ranged from amusement at the boy’s actions to appreciation for the officers’ thoughtful response. One user noted, “At least he knows how to call for help; it could save someone’s life one day!”
